Brian Shapiro

Brian Shapiro is an exciting and energetic poker player. He has the combination of exceptional poker skills and  an outgoing personality that makes him one of the more colorful players playing on the tournament circuit today.

Brian got his start grinding out high stakes cash games at Foxwoods Casino before making the move to Vegas where he continued a successful career as a cash game player. While in Vegas he became a popular radio talk show host where he was able to convey his "gift of gab" from the poker tables to his broadcasting career. After winning his seat to the 09 WSOP Main Event through a satellite event that had an incredibly tough field of some other world's top pros, Brian went on to cash in the WSOP.

As Brian takes on a more extensive tournament schedule he will continue to have success at the tables while maintaining his charasmatic personality.
